Company HomepageOula is looking for a full-time Laborist to participate in collaborative care with the Oula midwifery team in the inpatient setting. We’re looking for a thoughtful and passionate leader who will provide obstetrical and postpartum care for patients and collaborate with our midwifery team at Mount Sinai West. This position is 100% clinical and inpatient on the Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum floors. Obstetrical care entails providing direct patient care for patients who need OB/GYN care, co-management of care with our midwifery team for patients who rise to a higher level of medical risk and have complex labor courses including the need for operative delivery. The Oula Laborist is responsible for ensuring ongoing collaboration with the Oula midwifery team and the MSW Resident/LaboristNursing teams to ensure high quality care is being provided. This position reports to the Oula Medical Director for the NYC Region.
